- Jrod nozzle holder with long range and fan pattern nozzles.
- Upgraded air regulator/filter with glycerin filled stainless steel gauge with set of high-quality brass air couplers and plugs (set regulator to 80 psi maximum) drain compressor tanks at bottom daily. Check out the drain kit.
- 10-12 ft length of very high quality 3/8" ID air hose assembly with crimped on hose ends (longer and shorter lengths available).
- Short air hose (10-18") to connect the desiccant filter (hose ends will be 1/4" MPT unless you need 3/8" or 1/2". Please leave a note if other size needed).
- Two spare stainless-steel couplers.
You should be able to reach between 40-50' using this set-up powered by an adequate air supply.
Viton diaphragms are not the best choice because of the following reasons according to All-Flo: Santoprene and other thermal plastic elastomers (TPE) will have a very long flex life due to the nature of the material. This is especially apparent when comparing them to FKM and PTFE diaphragms, which tend to have a low flex life. When selecting a diaphragm, the chemical compatibility and the natural flex life should be considered. In most cases, a “B” rated Santoprene or other TPE will outlast an “A” rated FKM (Viton) or PTFE diaphragm. This is because both the “A” and “B” rated diaphragms will normally fail due to their natural flex life before they experience chemical issues. PTFE should predominantly be used when a TPE is not chemically compatible with the process fluid, and FKM (Viton) is traditionally used for high temperature applications that go above the other materials maximum temperature limits.
In short, Santoprene has a high flex life and FKM (Viton) has a very low flex life with flex life being its weakness.
***All fittings should be installed using non-drying liquid Teflon such as RectorSeal t plus 2 (can be purchased at any hardware store in the plumbing section) never use Teflon tape on anything in these related industries. ***
The minimum 6.5 hp gas powered air compressor, PVC SCH 40 1.5" ID pipe sleeve for the suction hose assembly and tank are not included and should be purchased locally to save you money on shipping.
You will need to install a desiccant filter between the regulator we supply with this kit.
Please read the directions:
Install the regulator using the arrow pointing to the pump >>>>>
Install a submicronic compressed air filter such as a motor guard m-45.
The Titan 4318S reel and a street 45 (2354) is a perfect addition to this kit. Be sure to add the jump hose (ftb10) and two css08.
The main advantages of using an All-Flo Kynar air diaphragm pump for soft wash or low-pressure chemical application are listed as follows: The All-Flo 1/2" Kynar air diaphragm pump, AFKE05, is capable of handling Softwash chemicals. It is a perfect choice for residential and commercial cleaning. It does not have to be rinsed after every use, has a 5-year warranty and will pay for itself and the gas-powered air compressor in the amount of money saved on chemical conserved using the air diaphragm pump.

Since the inlet port of the pump is 1/2", the general rule of pump plumbing indicates that the inner diameter of the supply line should be twice the inner diameter of the port and will require a minimum of a 1" ID hose. The 1" suction hose should not collapse and should remain somewhat rigid but allow flexibility under pulsation.
Never use garden hose fittings on the suction side of any pump as they allow air to siphon into your suction side of the pump. Our Pump Guru, Rex, invented PWP's idea of using a PVC slotted chemical tank filter for sodium hypochlorite. The filter is composed entirely of PVC and will not rust or decompose or shatter into small pieces after constant submersion into a soft washer's chemical tank or roof wash mix. The filter is made be assembled to fit exactly into the bottom of a 5-gallon bucket, various drum sizes and tanks.
To prevent the filter from rising to the top of the tank, a length of PVC pipe can be used as a sleeve to slip over the connecting suction hose. The inner diameter of the PVC pipe should be slightly wider than the outside diameter of the suction hose. You may use a clean piece of 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" id PVC scrap pipe to slip over the hose before it is connected to the all-flow pump. To figure out how long to cut the pipe, place the suction hose assembly with the uncut PVC pipe sleeve into your main chemical tank or drum and allow the filter to rest horizontally on the bottom. Mark and cut the sleeve so that it is just a bit higher than the opening of the tank. Use a heat gun to 'bell' the top end of the sleeve and a grinder or drum sander to soften the edges of the sleeve.
Seeing our original tank filter (tf-16) is assembled to the width of a 5 gallon bucket, the operator can remove the filter from the larger tank and place it in a bucket of degreaser to apply to a driveway or drive through, apply a diluted mix to a house or building wash or allow the operator to run 5+ gallons of fresh water through the system to rinse all of the fittings and components of the soft wash chemical application system. Semi-permanent fittings on the low-pressure side of a system attaching PVC to PVC should be assembled using non-drying liquid Teflon or 'pipe dope'.
Teflon tape should never be used. Teflon tape will dislodge, find its way into interrupting the moving components of a pump. We have answered technical calls in the middle of the night in which the only problem found was a piece of Teflon tape lodged next to diaphragm disallowing a seal, a valve to hang up by a little piece of white mystery or a clogged nozzle at your gun or in your surface cleaner spray bar tip. One main advantage of using the all-flow is the ability to use a variety of low-pressure chemical applicators.
